Kambala is proud to be the only school in Australia offering the Global Citizen Diploma, giving our students an exclusive pathway to global distinction.
The GCD is a formal credential for senior school students that complements traditional academic qualifications.
It is designed to develop and certify key competencies such as intercultural understanding, ethical leadership, social responsibility and global engagement.
Three levels of
distinction
Students work towards one of three formal tiers of recognition prior to graduation
Certificate: Demonstrates commitment across Core Values plus at least 1 additional element.
Diploma: Demonstrates learning across Core Values plus 6 additional elements alongside academic graduation requirement.
Diploma with Distinction: Requires Core Values plus 9 additional elements (including 3 Areas of Expertise), recognizing achievements well above standard high school expectation.
"These global values are already in active practice across Kambala. Our students participate in weekly virtual exchanges with peers from Zhongshan Girls High School in Taiwan and Hachioji Gakuen in Japan, while student leaders host Model UN competitions attracting over 80 participants from schools across Sydney.”
