Junior School Clubs

Junior School students can extend their in-class learning through our STEM club, and Homework clubs, both available for Years 3 to 6.

Homework Club takes place each afternoon – Monday to Thursday – from 3:10 to 4:00 pm.

Girls in Year 3 to Year 6 are able to attend either each afternoon or on specific afternoons.

Register for the whole term, or a one-off afternoon if needed.

Senior School Clubs

Senior School students have access to a wide range of clubs all of which provide a welcoming environment in which students can widen their interests and stimulate thinking.

This Club involves a series of onsite, after-school sessions totalling 15 hours of instruction and activities. The objective is to offer students in the senior school an interactive and engaging learning experience that will foster their interest and proficiency in AI.

Upon completion, students will receive a certificate and an IBM badge, recognising their achievements in AI foundations.

The club has been established to develop and nurture the interest in Theatresports and Drama. It will be student led- the club is managed by the Head of Drama and staff members of the Drama Department. It is open to all students in Year 7-12. Club members will practise theatre sports games and other improvisational drama exercises. They may also rehearse short scripts which could be performed in Assembly.

Future Problem Solving is an academic program centred on research, fostering problem-solving strategies for global issues, collaboration, and critical and creative thinking.

Emphasising precise communication, it nurtures ethical leadership skills and prepares students for future challenges. Through an interdisciplinary approach, students develop essential skills to succeed in our rapidly changing world.

The Investors Club aims to enhance financial literacy and amplify the female presence in the financial sector. We believe that boosting financial knowledge among the exceptional young women at Kambala will inspire more of our peers to explore and excel in the finance industry.

The club actively engages students in stock pitches and paper trading on the ASX, allowing our members to apply their learning in real-world scenarios and deepen their understanding of financial markets. We also hold interviews with high-profile guest speakers, including a recent event with the Cranbrook Investment Club.

The Jewish Club is open to all students, regardless of faith, and led by Rabbi Chida.
The club meets fortnightly where you can connect through food, conversation, culture and theology.

The Kambala Philosophy Club aims to provide students a platform for engaging in thoughtful discussions, cultivating critical thinking, and exploring profound philosophical concepts. Through diverse activities, our goal is to deepen our understanding of the world while fostering open-mindedness, empathy, and intellectual growth.

Using a range of activities and philosophy knowledge learning, the club will train interested students and prepare them for different competitions including:

  • Ethics Olympiad: Members will be exposed to the Ethics Olympiad competition and teams will be organised to participate in this annual competition. The aim is for Kambala to enter two to three teams and receive at least one medal. In future years, it is our aim to win the entire competition and represent Australia internationally.
  • Philosothon: After success in the Ethics Olympiad, members can participate in the national Philosothon and essay competition by joining Philosophy in Schools NSW.
The Kameleon Club is a safe space for LGBTQIA+ students and friends. It is a space for discussion about politics, social issues, media, literature, research, and more. It provides opportunities to explore ways to enable the Kambala community to engage with queer issues, such as through fundraising events and information sharing. This club is student-led and open to all. It is managed by Kambala staff who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
This student and staff partnership lunch club supports student wellbeing with activities, games and supportive conversations with our school counsellors and school student leaders. It’s a fun and inclusive way for students to make friends and be supported during lunch breaks. Games and skills development are the main aim of this club.
Open to the whole Kambala community, providing enriching opportunities for students, teachers and lifelong learners to engage with theatre, artistic/dramatic exhibitions, cross-cultural events, lectures, films and festivals.
A Senior STEM club is available for Years 7 to 12, allowing girls to further immerse themselves into STEM activities including coding, 3D modelling and electronics in a team-based environment.
This is a student-led Theatresport Club, for students in Years 7-12, run under the supervision of the Drama Faculty. This club aims to benefit students in developing their improvisation and performance skills and assist in expanding the Drama community.
