Festival of Music

In March, we were delighted to celebrate our 32nd annual Festival of Music. This much-anticipated event has become a cherished tradition in our school community. It brought together a wide array of talented musicians from our Senior School, as well as students from Years 5 and 6, who all joined forces within their respective houses to deliver a truly spectacular and uplifting performance.

The atmosphere was filled with energy, as students showcased not only their musical skills, but also their dedication, perseverance, and teamwork. The process of rehearsing, collaborating, and ultimately performing on stage highlighted the incredible talents and hard work of our students. Whether they were playing instruments, singing, conducting, or supporting from behind the scenes, every participant contributed to the success of this special event.

The Festival of Music is more than just a concert, it’s an opportunity for students to bond with their peers across year levels, to challenge themselves musically, and to experience the joy of performing at the infamous Sydney Opera House.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Kambala’s Director of Music, Mr Gene Clark, and his exceptional team. Their unwavering commitment to cultivating a rich and vibrant musical culture within our school is truly inspiring. Through their guidance and support, they continue to provide our girls with outstanding opportunities to explore and develop their musical talents. Their efforts were instrumental in making this year’s Festival of Music such a memorable and successful occasion.
