Global Citizenship at Kambala: Educating Women for the Future

At Kambala, our community is committed to instilling unwavering courage and curiosity in our students, ensuring they grow into women of ambition, integrity, and consequence. We believe that curiosity is not just a value but a cornerstone of good global citizenship. As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, the importance of nurturing globally minded students has never been more critical. Education for global citizenship, a target under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4.7, aims to equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development. According to UNICEF, a global citizen understands that everyone has rights and is committed to creating a world where these rights are realised. They appreciate and understand the interconnectedness of all life on the planet.

At Kambala, we are proud to be raising such global citizens—young women who believe in global justice and act to make the world a safer, fairer, and more sustainable place where human rights are protected and respected.
