NSW All Schools Beach Touch Football Competition

On Wednesday our Senior A, Junior A and 7A teams played in the NSW Beach Touch Championships. Our girls definitely matched it with the selective sports high schools with the Senior A and 7A teams reaching the Grand Final to finish runners up.

Our Junior A team were narrowly defeated by the eventual winners by a try in the semi final on the final siren. Nevertheless they get to play their Easts Touch Grand Final tomorrow at Queens Park at 9am. They are a well drilled team and have worked hard on their skills since they began in the program in Year 4. Most of the team now play representative Touch.

Another impressive part of the day was the compliments our staff and coaches received from staff from other schools and Kambala old girls on the girls exemplary behaviour and conduct throughout the day.

Congratulations to all three teams and their coaches on showcasing the Kambala Touch program at the NSW Championships.
