On Monday 17 September our current Year 12 students attended their last Boarding Formal Dinner. This was an opportunity for both Boarding Houses and many of the senior staff at school to join together and pay tribute to the contributions made by this fantastic group of young women. Ava and Hillary (Yr 11) delivered a heartfelt speech acknowledging the strengths in each of the Year 12 Boarding students and shared stories of how they have impacted those around them in a positive way. It was an emotional night, one of joy, in that we have shared a home with such outstanding individuals and one of sorrow that it is the end of an era for the 2024 cohort and excitement for the next phase of their life. On behalf of the departing girls, Kailani and Audrey shared the journey they have been on since Year 7 and thanked the people who have contributed to them over the past six years. The photo slideshow caused much laughter and brought back lots of really special memories.
The dinner was the first in a series of events planned over the end of term for the Year 12 girls, and we look forward to watching and supporting them through until the end of their final exams.
