Diversity and Celebrations – Orthodox Easter and Greek Traditions

Hampshire House Orthodox Easter

At Hampshire House we encourage our children to foster a deep respect for diversity and inclusion. This includes offering the children exposure to a range of celebrations, which are as diverse as the children who we educate and care for.

This week we acknowledged Orthodox Easter traditions and the children from the Margaret White room had a wonderful opportunity to engage in making Koulouraki, Greek Easter biscuits.  With the assistance of Ms Gina & Ms Desie the children measured, poured, kneaded and twisted their biscuits, whilst happily chatting about the celebrations that some of the children had planned for the weekend.
