Boarding 2025

It has been a wonderful start to the year in the Kambala Boarding House, and I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all who joined us for the Welcome Back BBQ and the reopening of Fernbank House. It was fantastic to see our Boarding community come together and celebrate the start of another exciting year.

A special thank you to Sophia Heckendorf and the Kambala Parents’ Association (KPA) for organising the beautiful welcome gift packs for our new boarders. They were so grateful for the practical and kind items they received. Every girl in the house arrived to find a personalised bath robe from the School and a delicious cookie from the Kambala Old Girls Association waiting for them in their rooms, a thoughtful gesture that made them feel immediately at home.

Our Boarders have already enjoyed a busy and exciting first weekend, starting with a fun movie night, a thrilling trip to the waterpark, and concluding with Chapel at St Michael’s— a long-held tradition for Kambala Boarders. It was a wonderful way to bond, create new memories, and settle into the year ahead.

I am looking forward to the year ahead and all the opportunities it will bring for our Boarders. With a strong sense of community, care, and connection, 2025 is set to be a memorable and enriching year for all.
