IT’S
HER
TIME
Our bold and ambitious Multi-Purpose Auditorium and Sports Precinct will reflect the courageous and the remarkable.
The whole Kambala community will enjoy the benefits of this transformational precinct.
Kambala began in 1887, as a humble class of 12 girls in a Terrace House in Woollahra. Now, as a pre-eminent school for girls in Sydney, Kambala is poised to move confidently into the future.
Our new precinct supports the strategic vision for the school and aligns facilities with educational priorities around wellbeing, sport and community. It allows us to build on the work already being undertaken within contemporary and purpose-built facilities.
We are creating a space for generations to come.
A school for girls seeks to promote the wellbeing, success and intellectual growth of the collective and the individual.

ENRICHING GIRLS’ LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
A place where all of us can gather, to reflect, to celebrate and to learn. Where we are able to reinforce the values we hold, to connect with each other, and to strengthen our school community to enable every girl to take risks to grow intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally.
A space where:
- our entire community can gather, at once.
- our Kindergarten students can explore their relationships with older peers.
- our Year 2 students can sing the school hymn with the Year 8s.
- our Year 4 students can adjudicate a basketball game for the Seniors.
- we can continue the pursuit of excellence.
- only the best teachers are attracted.
- specialist subjects can be taught.
- your daughter can shape her future and help shape the future of others.
A shared and proud sense of place has characterised our 138 year history, and will continue to do so for decades to come.
Ainslie van Onselen, President of School Council
We have designed to bring everything positive about girls’ learning and socialisation together for everyone’s benefit.
